Presented by Dr. Richard Perez. Solar energy is often dismissed out of hand as an expensive niche market for the few. However, looking at the facts suggests that solar energy may be the only resource that is large enough in scope and acceptable enough to carry us and the rest of the planet through the long term. Compelling evidence from experimental case studies will be presented. This lecture is presented as part of the SUNY New Paltz School of Science and Engineering Colloquium Series and is free and open to the public.
