Why?
Based on the 2010 census, Ulster County has been downsized to 23 new single-member legislative districts. A single, new representative from each district will be elected this November 8th. Dem candidate list here.
To secure victory for all Dem candidates including Jon Sennett for UC D.A. and Mike Hein for County Executive, UC Dems and grassroots volunteers will be conducting voter outreach throughout the summer, which includes phonebanking, canvassing, voter registration and other important activities. We aim to become a well-oiled engine as we ramp up to 2012 to re-elect Cahill, Hinchey and Obama, and elect a Democratic State Senator to replace the GOP incumbent.
