Well organized New York/New Jersey coalition of citizen activists, local communities, and environmental organizations to prevent the construction of two parallel pipelines between Albany, NY and Linden, NJ. Bakken shale oil would be sent south; refined products (including kerosene) would be sent north. Would cross Orange, Greene, and Ulster counties and under important waterways. Provides training for volunteers.
