Rep. John Faso, with five other upstate NY Republican co-sponsors, is proposing legislation which shifts Medicaid costs from the counties back to NY state. While property tax relief is a top priority for NY19 taxpayers, we need to know how this cost-shifting will be paid for. Looks like a political maneuver, period.
