Dear Friends and Neighbors:
We are entering a challenging era! A time we know that we are all going to have to step up, in one way or another.
Though a scary time, it is also an exciting time- right here at home, a time we CAN defeat the proposed Pilgrim Pipelines before one shovel hits the ground!
Many of us find ourselves wishing we could speak up with confidence, have the facts about PP at the tip of our tongues (or on cheat sheets in our hands), send a press release, put together a power point, make a FB event and more- often turning to those who seem to do it with ease! Now is the time for each of us to become “one of those”- in one way or another!
The CAPPNY outreach committee has been working on a great day of training and sharing. On Feb 11 we will have an opportunity to learn and practice any or all of these skills- in the comfort of our own accepting CAPPNY family. It will be fun, we will share lunch, can share stories, maybe find a team or group we can work with.
The Unitarian Congregation of the Catskills has offered their space. So SAVE THE DATE- save the afternoon to spend learning and sharing.
If you have other skills or workshops you would like to see offered please let us know. It is a packed program but we will try to include . Details will follow.
