Our free and open internet is under attack by a Republican-controlled Federal Communications Commission (FCC), which voted to end Net Neutrality. Net Neutrality officially ended on June 11.
But there’s still time to undo Trump’s giveaway to big telecom companies, by telling our Representative to vote yes on the Congressional Review Act resolution, a law that allows Congress to undo any regulation that an agency like the FCC has recently finalized by passing a “resolution of disapproval.”
On May 16, 2018, the Senate voted 52-47 to overrule Trump’s FCC and restore net neutrality protections. That means that the fight to protect the free and open internet has moved to the House.
Caller: Hello! My name is ___ and I’m calling from [part of state]. I’m calling to ask Rep. Faso to co-sponsor Congressman Doyle’s resolution of disapproval, which would uphold net neutrality and preserve the internet as we know it.
Starting June 11, we have 60 days. Learn more here.
