There is still time to pass a clean Dream Act
Congress needs to act before the March 5 DACA cliff, when 1,200 DACA recipients will begin to lose their protections every single day. They’ll have a week before then to pass legislation providing relief for Dreamers — but it’ll require Republicans rejecting Trump’s racist demands. It’s important for you to tell your MoCs to do their job and protect their communities by passing a clean Dream Act now.
Republicans Refuse to Fix A Trump-Created Crisis.
Donald Trump created the Dreamer crisis when he ended the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program in September 2017. By doing so, he put the lives of 800,000 Dreamers and their families at risk. He didn’t have to do it, but he — and Stephen Miller — are trying to hold Dreamers hostage in order to advance their white supremacist immigration plan. And Republicans, ignoring their constituents, are helping him.

Donald Trump and Congressional Leaders of both parties in the House and Senate support making a deal that will protect Dreamers. The new Quinnipiac poll states American’s overwhelmingly support the Dreamers, with 80% supporting Dreamers to remaining in the US with the ability to eventually apply for citizenship. Yet Republicans have repeatedly allowed Trump’s racism to derail potential deals. Dreamers should not be used as a bargaining chip to advance this administration’s anti-immigrant policies. I’m calling on Rep Faso to vote for a clean Dream Act now that permanently protects Dreamers from deportation.SENATOR SCRIPT: Hello. My name is [name] and I live in [town, zip].
We need Democratic Representatives to hold strong for the Dreamers and our immigrant communities.

Will Senator [ ] make a commitment not to vote for any deal that would enhance internal enforcement, restrict family migration, or eliminate the Diversity Visa program?
