I urge the Congressman to vote NO on the Save Act – HR8281. It requires voter ID and other voter suppression measures. It is unnecessary, threatens citizens’ ability to vote, and is harmful to democracy.

Elon Musk is unelected with no government experience, and has taken over the Treasury Department system. He’s also given six unelected young people access to our most sensitive financial information. This is an illegal takeover of the federal government. It MUST be stopped. The Treasury is responsible for trillions of dollars in U.S. government payments, including Social Security and Medicare. Millions of us depend on that money. It’s ours. Protect our Constitution and taxpayer dollars at all costs.

I strongly urge the Congressman to use every available tool to get Musk out of the Treasury Department, and held accountable, including halting all Congressional activity and enjoining the courts, until he steps down.

The Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act (H.R.22/S.128) is harmful to our democracy and a threat to the freedom to vote for all Americans. While the SAVE Act has been characterized as a narrow bill mandating proof of citizenship for voter registration, its extreme documentation requirements would actually implement one of the harshest voter suppression laws nationwide.
