Phonebanking Night hosted by Citizen Action of the Hudson Valley
Join local activists at CAHV on 7 Grand Street in Kingston, NY.
Organizing is built on relationships. It’s about face-to-face, person-to-person conversations. It’s about expressing our anger and frustration, our hope and ideas, listening with care, and connecting people to the power we have when we act together.
The backbone of our work is outreach. If we are going to win the changes we need to see, we must build relationships with those who are not currently engaged in this movement. We need to be making calls and knocking on doors not just during election time, but all year long.
Join us to make phone calls to people right in our community. In particular, we will reaching out to low-income families and people of color — sections of our population directly impacted by campaigns we are fighting, and whose leadership and voices we need to build the world we want.
Never phonebanked? No problem! Together we will train, run role-plays, and jump in together. As a part of an outreach t
eam, we debrief together, share feedback, and celebrate our successes.
We are building teams right now! Sign up for a shift today –
