New York City Central Labor Council, AFL-CIO

On March 25, 1911, 146 workers died on the job. The workers, many of whom were young women, perished in a building with locked doors, and a faulty fire escape.

Each year, we come together to remember the lives of these workers, and to recommit to the fight for worker safety and justice.

Join us on Friday, March 24 to remember the lives that were lost, and to recommit to standing up for safety standards for workers everywhere.
