Cricket Valley Energy Center is a 1100MW Gas fired power plant sited on Rt. 22 in Dover, NY. It is being built by the Bechtel Corporation. This power plant, which broke ground this summer, poses a threat to the climate and environment, not just in Dutchess County but across the state and beyond.

Join Mothers Out Front along with the Dutchess County Progressive Action Alliance (Caroline Fenner) and the NY Public Interest Research Group for a rally to let our decision makers know that we want to STOP CV. We will meet in front of the Poughkeepsie Grand Hotel where the Dutchess County Regional Chamber of Commerce monthly contact breakfast is being held at 7:30 AM.
