Our next general meeting will be Monday, March 28, at the Rhinebeck Town Hall 80 E. Market Street, Rhinebeck, NY. We’ll have social & noshing time from 6:00 – 6:20 (bring a finger food snack for 8 to share if you can); we’ll gavel open at 6:20, end by 8:10P and have informal time until 8:30P.
We’ll focus on immigration and the effects of Trump administration policies, with a focus on our local community. Darrelyn Brennan Khelifat will share what’s going on at the local and state level and answer your questions. We’ll look at Rep. Faso’s record, too. Rabbi Yael Romer, Congregation Emanuel of the Hudson Valley, in coalition with Father Frank Algana, Holy Cross Santa Cruz Episcopal Church, two leaders in the local inter-faith sanctuary space movement, will share her commitment to sanctuary, radical hospitality and the protection of undocumented people in our community. She’ll let you know how to help as well.
Elisa Sumner, Chair, Dutchess County Democratic Committee, will also join us to present Dutchess County Judge candidate Christi Acker and Controller candidate Robin Lois.
