Our main presenter will be Shannon Wong from the NYCLU, who will speak about the Right to Know Act, which was first presented to the City of Poughkeepsie Common Council in 2017. Other speakers will touch base on defunding the police and how black and brown people are much more impacted by inequities in criminal justice. We will also have information on what is happening locally to address racial justice and how you can get involved.
