TrumpCare is Back! This time under the name of the Cassidy-Graham Bill. We are asking people to join together on Friday, September 22nd at the Leo OBrien Federal Building in Downtown Albany at 11:30am to remind our representatives how important it is that they continue to stand up against any version of TrumpCare.
Join Citizen Action of New York, New York State Council of Churches, New York State Nurses Association and 1199SEIU!
As the Cassidy-Graham bill gains momentum in the US Senate, we need impacted residents, community members, health care providers, unions, elected officials and clergy to come together and show our solidarity.
The Cassidy-Graham bill would cause virtually all of the same devastating impacts as previous repeal bills, such as:
● Cause 32 million people to lose health coverage,
● Radically restructure and deeply cut Medicaid, with an especially severe impact on New York State
● Gut protections for pre-existing conditions
● Make deep cuts to women’s health, seniors, children and families
