Dear Neighbor, We’re looking forward to welcoming you to our Veterans & Military Families Resource Fair this Friday, May 30th, in Rhinebeck! More than 20 organizations, providers and agencies will be on-site, offering services and support for veterans, military service members, and their families.
Here’s a look at just a few of our partners and the resources they’ll be offering:
- Home weatherization assistance from Community Action Partnership for Dutchess County to help income-eligible households reduce energy bills and stay safe year-round.
- Traveling Therapy Pigs and RocDog Therapy Dogs, for a little joy and stress relief—stop by for a visit with these friendly, comforting animals!
- Employment support services from the NYS Department of Labor.
- Emergency preparedness and safety information to help plan ahead for severe weather through American Red Cross.
- Free Notary Services!
- Academic advisement and support from Dutchess Community College Veterans Resource Center.
- Home repair assistance for income-qualified homeowners in Dutchess County through Rebuilding Together Hudson Valley.
