Due to Republican redistricting, the path to securing a Democratic majority has increased from flipping 3-4 seats to up to 24 seats. For Ulster County, this means aggressively defending NY19 and NY18, and supporting down ballot races in both.

Republicans currently hold a 53-47 majority. To win Senate control, Dems must:

• Hold vulnerable seats in Georgia, Michigan, and New Hampshire, AND
• Win 4 flippable states:  Ohio, North Carolina, Maine, and Alaska.

• Take Action:

3. BUILDING OUR POWER IN THE NY STATE LEGISLATURE

New York, with its blue Trifecta, remains a pillar of resistance against the worst of Trump’s policies. Still, even with Dem majorities we need champions of policies like New York For All, the New York Health Act, and Climate Leadership. This year, we have a winnable race in Senate District 51. as we defend NY State Senate District  41. Both districts overlap with parts of NY18 and 19.

4. SUPPLEMENT DIRECT VOTER CONTACT WITH POSTCARDS
