Our New Normal: Wake up, have coffee, walk our dog, shower, then call our Members of Congress: John Faso, Chuck Schumer and Kirstin Gillibrand – it takes less than 15 minutes. A phone call from a constituent far outweighs a Facebook post or a tweet. In lieu of speaking directly to your representative, speak to their staff members, present your request and ask them to pass it along – they are obligated to do so. If you can’t get through at one office, call the other locations. Keep track of their responses, hold them accountable for following up.
