RESISTANCE VOTER REGISTRATION
Allies! In 2016, too many #NY19 voters left the vote for congressman blank, or didn’t show up at all. Time to knock on doors, educate, and pledge them to come out for midterms in 2018!
Resistance Voter Registration will show our movement is serious and committed, help build our base and if you’re a new activist who hasn’t canvassed before there is no better way to get your feet wet with dozens of fellow Resistors!
- Register new voters.
- Continue to apply pressure on John Faso to do his job and hold public, open and honest town halls for constituents.
- Build the #Resistance movement by identifying and activating new #Resistors at doors.
- Show our district, New York and the nation that our #Resistance movement is passionate and committed.
- RVR is a non-partisan branded event: RVR is anti-Trump but not party specific.
- RVR is an umbrella event that aims to unite the broadest coalition possible.
Participating groups include: Women’s March, Indivisible, labor unions, local schools and colleges, #Resistance, Democratic Party, Working Families Party and long-standing activist groups.
